Labtronics engineered Kynekt™: a distributed, node-based hardware ecosystem for high-value assets. Integrating LoRa mesh networking and Bluetooth Low Energy, the system enables autonomous tracking and hardware-level remote lockout across demanding industrial environments.
World‑first wearable for 24‑hour hormone profiling in everyday
Labtronics engineered the electronics for U‑RHYTHM: a Class 2B wearable that continuously samples hormones during normal daily life and sleep. Published in Science Translational Medicine and called a "revolution in hormone understanding" by the BBC, it's the first device to capture true circadian rhythms outside a hospital.
High‑speed microtomy for 3D volume SEM
Labtronics engineered the Katana Microtome electronics to turn existing Scanning Electron Microscopes into 3D volume SEM systems through precise, automated ultramicrotomy. The platform drives an oscillating diamond knife with high‑voltage, low‑noise hardware so micron‑scale slices can be removed and imaged layer‑by‑layer.
Autonomous grow chamber for plant and fungi research
